Bridal Shoes
Floral Bracelets and Boutonniere
If you can see the picture on top, the flowers arranged are mostly in odd numbers. This balances the image of your floral bracelet and at the same time, you can include any contrasting flower to make it more appealing.
Wedding Gowns For the Bride
I like this design of a gown courtesy of helenbride.com. This type of gown is really elegant, modest and beautiful which is for me is perfect. I haven't seen most of this design to where I bought my wedding dress. Most of the gowns these days are spaghetti straps or tube-type designs. But this one is with sleeves and I really like the lace design of it plus the trail is really gorgeous. Wish I just have the money, sigh.. Just keep on dreaming, at least it is free.
Wedding Rings For You
Wedding Rings are one of the most expensive to consider in your wedding budget and you need to have a good supplier for this. But this depends on the taste of the couple on what type of rings they prefer. From diamond rings of different carats to gold rings, silver or chromium type of rings and the two-toned rings.
Prices depends on what the ring is made of. From precious stones, to carats of gold and its purity. The design will vary also if you wanted more definition to your ring aside from the printing of names in the ring.
Our wedding ring is very simple. It was Chinese gold and has our names printed inside it. Rings are considered the symbol of love but this does not mean that it will play as important once your married because the couple is still the one who would live their lives together. Even if the ring is cheap or expensive, what matters most is that the relationship will last for eternity and will not end up for divorce or separation.
A wedding Ring symbolizes your status but is just a material to wear. It will not even guarantee that the smooth sailing of the relationship is always present since couples need to adjust to each other on the very first part of being together.
In a wedding, the exchange of rings are very much awaited second to kissing of the bride. But for me, a person should not tie his/her emotions to any material things and that includes the wedding ring. I said to myself that if my husband loses his ring for being so clumsy, I will really need to teach him a lesson or else buy us a new ring. I sometimes criticize my husband for not wearing his ring at times when it seems too loose for his finger. He taught me that with a ring or not, it will not make any difference to him because he shows his love and loyalty to me.
Sounds cheesy at times, but since I know him very well, it was not an alibi to hide his status to others since they know him already married and has been a good husband to me. If there is anyone who would be so nosy to report him to me, that will be his friends and colleagues. But I am thankful to God as we do keep our vows in the sanctity of marriage.
Wedding Rings are not lucky amulets to keep the couples away from fights and disagreements. But it is a vow that reminds you to keep and tied you to make your relationship work in sickness and in health, in riches or poor, through thick and thin. The ring just like the couple should bond together. As long as the husband and wife honors their vow to God and obey His Words, our relationship will be patterned according to God's will.
Wedding Guest Book for your Wedding
Wedding Table Numbers
Wedding Table Numbers is one of the easiest DIY thing that you can budget for yourself and you don't need to worry about it unless there is a supplier that will cater to do this for you. But certainly I do like to design my own simple things. I can also start within next month itself on my own version of wedding table numbers as long as I get the confirmation of guests coming so that I can really know the number of tables to prepare and arrange them accordingly.
Since a bride-to-be should consider arranging a table or seat for her guests, mine is easy since I only invited closed family relatives and friends which are all first degrees. Even on my own circle of friends, I also invited from level one to two only which are close to me because I do like to keep my wedding simple and very private.
So arranging for the table numbers and designing it on the table will be much more easier and cheaper to consider without worrying who will be my supplier for such stationary stuffs.
All you need to consider for making such are:
good paper choice
color motif of your wedding
ribbons
some wedding accessories
pictures of the couple (depends on your design)
glue gun or any glue drop
gems, paper flowers and more art crafts
Wedding table numbers can be fun to create as long as you know what you are doing and you really like what you are doing. Preparing such is a one lifetime experience if you still have the time to consider such preparations.

Pomander Balls For your Wedding
Pomander Balls For your wedding is one of the most effective and "IN" trend of weddings today. The first time I see pomander balls, I was really fascinated because it was so lovely and yet it was just easy to prepare and you don't need to spend too much about it particularly if your creating it using tissue napkin papers that you can easily find on craft stores.
I do like paper pomander balls because they can be so affordable and budget savvy for bride-to- be's who is on a very tight budget. Yet, the quality of it was still there and you can elegantly present this to all your guests as they see it decorated on the aisle of your wedding or being handled by your secondary sponsors.
You can create your own DIY (Do-it-yourself) pomander balls as long as you have the following materials.
Styrofoam balls (sizes depends on your preference)
ribbons ( colors of your choice) - to hold your pomander ball
glue gun
soft wire to pin your flowers
flowers of your choice (roses, gerbera, daisy, etc.)
some accesories you wanted to put on your pomander ball
How to Make a Pomander Ball - Actually you can do this by watching it on youtube for a sample demonstration. I myself will consider doing the same thing since I will try to hands-on on my own pomander balls which I prefer to use a soaked paper arts made from crafts store. It will be much more cheaper for me if I use the said material in replacement for flowers to my entourage or for my aisle decor.
I just hope that I can post my DIY pomander balls here. I am not yet starting my project but I do hope soon. I would be using different colors of paper for my rainbow color motif. It was really a challenge but I do hope to get helping hands from friends back home. Remember that pomander balls can be fun by creating it with the colors you assigned for your wedding like the picture below courtesy of weddepot

Project: Wedding Invitations- The Final Cut
Project: Wedding Invitations
At last, we were able to make it and finished 20 pieces of beautifully hand crafted wedding invitations which is obviously a DIY invitation card. It took us only two straight days to fix it but it took us one week to complete the necessary stuffs we needed to finish the said invitation cards.
Each beautifully hand crafted card designs are created unique in a sense that each of the cards we created were not identical to each other. The color signifies that our motif is focusing on the rainbow colors and thus I still have to print out 6 more cards and will take another month and a half to distribute it to my family, relatives and friends.
It is a contemporary approach to the usual or traditional wedding invitations in the market. I said to myself, that my wedding can only happen once in a lifetime even though we were married in civil rights long time ago, getting married in front of your dearly beloved family, relatives and friends is something to cherish and I am really excited to see their faces as I give my invitation cards.
For those brides-to-be who still have time to prepare you own invitation cards, you can surely feel the excitement and the fulfillment of creating your own design of card. But I am just thankful that my hubby helped me in creating this wonderful and colorful wedding invitations. It was a bonding moment after all.
Wedding Favors and Give Aways
I also like to have these simple incense sticks with stand holders but I don't know if it will fit our budget.

Wedding Cake by Red Ribbon
My Wedding Cake
I am still selecting which one to choose from the following gorgeous cake by Red Ribbon. I am such a fan of this bakeshop because they seem to serve the best cakes in town and their designs are really elegant yet affordable.
If God's will that my list would not balloon to 50+ I would definitely go for any of these cakes that I am going to show you. So far, Red Ribbon is the most affordable cake I can think of for a wedding which is really a shoestring budget. I don't tend to invite a lot of people and friends I know. I am limiting it to closest friends and family only so the cake for us would also be simple and not to grand that looks like Eiffel tower or Leaning tower of Pisa.
Here's my first sample of cake. Good for 48 people and costs only two thousand pesos.
It is boiled icing that kids would surely love although I still opt to get a fondant cake so that the cake would look steady before we eat it. Here is another sample of the cake we want to select
It is good for 40 people and costs depends on the flavor since they have chocolate, butter and rhumbutter fondant. Price ranges from Php3,500 to Php 3,700 depends if they have additional fees.
The next cake is Floral Bliss which is good for 40 people and is only chocolate in flavor which is also boiled icing. The cost of this beauty is Php 3,300 only.
By the way if you are thinking how did i think of selecting such with different colors, as I have told from my previous blog, I opt to get a rainbow color of motif. Our theme wedding is Bright Rainbow color so I would be playing a lot of colors on my wedding.
Here is the 4th selection of cake I have which is called Precious. It does serve 32 people only and yet these selection is the least on my list. It costs only Php 1,750 in chocolate and rhumbutter fondant flavor.
And last but not the list on my selection is Gumamela. It is in Chocolate and Rhumbutter fondant flavor which is good to serve 56 people and the price ranges from Php 3,800- 4,000 which I can say is still affordable on couples who are also on the same boat just like me.
I just needed to ask them how early should I reserve since I still got 81 days to go before my wedding. I will be excited to post my pictures here once I get it all done.
Project: Wedding Invitations Part 3
My DIY Wedding Invitation
This is to continue with the project I am going to finish within next month. I only have a few invites to make since I wanted our wedding to be simple and private so maybe 25 pieces would be enough for me, not unless my mom wants to add more people into my list and that makes me want to expand my work also.
Anyway here is the tools and other materials I have included on my project. Cutting tools that have different designs which I can use for cutting my papers.
Some wonderful and colorful stickers that can accentuate my motif of a rainbow color. I also do have a colored stamp pad and a sunflower designed stamp to design my invitation card.
You can buy these wonderful stickers at Hobby Ideas shop located at Inorbit Mall in Mumbai India. For those who are not from India, I guess you can check out your favorite bookstore and office supply if they have the same or equal material that I have here.
Project: Wedding Invitations Part 2
My Project on Wedding Invitations
This will be the continuation since I have to post more pics and I don't want to overload the first page so I have it here the materials and tools that I will be using on my project. Please note that I won't be giving yet any measurements on the paper size and such since I will not be cutting my papers yet and start my project till this week. I will just show you the materials and tools that I will be using and i still have to figure out where to buy my nice lace ribbons.
The papers vary from designs and texture. I do have tracing papers, hand-made papers, thick card boards and the rest of the art paper was like a cartolina in size and texture.
I cannot find any double adhesive tape so I go for a glue drops by Fevicol. You can buy this at any arts, crafts and hobby stores in Mumbai but I prefer Hobby Ideas Shop which is located in Inorbit Mall.
More of the papers that I will use on my DIY Wedding Invitation
I am totally not done with my work here, so I do hope you can give me time when I will be posting the finish product or the instructions of how I will make my own wedding invitation.
Project: Wedding Invitations
My project for this week and for the month of December is to finish my DIY Wedding Invitation. Since the Theme for our Wedding will be a Colorful Rainbow, the color motif of our wedding is also consisting of bright and colorful shades which belongs to the prism color or rainbow (ROYGBIV) Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet.
On my first part of the project, I have gathered some materials like hand made papers to tracing papers and hard board papers. It does include a shade of orange gold, royal blue and indigo colors. I still do want a touch or green and yellow and red, but maybe I can add that on the ribbon or lace itself.
So far, I haven't started anything yet, unless I will be able to get my venue done like reserving it first before proceeding to printing out of invitations. I already have an idea of a design but I cannot show a sample here yet so maybe what I can do is just show you the materials that I have gathered here for the preparation of my Do-It-Yourself Wedding Invitation.
I will also be posting the amount as soon I wrapped it all up on my project. I am already excited to start it with but I still have to wait for 8 to 10 more days before I can go green on my print outs.
Shimmery as you can see, it was kinda thick and rough
I will need more time to finish my lists although I am almost done with my entourage, only brushing off with some words to include on the last page for my wedding invite. I will post here also the papers and tool I have included for my project. Any bright ideas and suggestions on the designs you might want to share with me?

My Wedding Dress
I have my wedding dress that I have kept for almost 4 years because we got married in a civil rights and now that we are planning to have our church wedding, it is the time that I can now use my never ever used gown.
Civil wedding in India does not require you to wear anything fancy like a wedding gown or so and they are strict because they don't allow picture taking. I was really disappointed and was never happy with that style because there was no souvenir to keep. Although we do not believe that marriages only depends on how a person can lavishly afford a good wedding, we both are happy with what we have and now that God has given us the opportunity to experience being wed in front of our own family and friends, I guest I can say even if I am married for almost four years, I am still excited and expectant of my wedding.
I just do hope that everything will be okay and to save the venue and the caterer that we wanted. Here is the sample dress I have which I just created a drawing courtesy of theknot.com site, which is choose your own bride. If you are a bride and you don't have any idea yet of what you would like to have, you can practice on this simple Do It yourself dressing up a bride, it is fun and it is easy, just sign up first and the rest is for you to explore.
